Jason & Sophy will be teaching two workshops, doing an exhibition, and organizing three tables of dancers from the Cincinatti area. If you have not seen these two perform, DON"T MISS THIS!!! This two dancers are among the top West Cost Dancers in the country and everywhere they go they are voted the most friendly and popular dancers!
MIke & Debbie LaPina
Mike & Debbie have been traveling, teaching & doing exhibitions on the ABA Bop & Boogie Circuit for many years..every year they come up with something new to delight the audience. They will teach two classes this weekend.
Don & Jean Kingen
Don & Jean are local swing personalities and have been involved in teaching and Djing for many years! Don and Jean will offer one class on Salsa! This is one of the hottest dances in the country...don't be left out! Don (a well known national DJ) will also be DJing.
Sherry Martin
Sherry Martin is a Hall Of Fame Swing Dancer and her talents are awesome...I remember watching her win the US Open at Disney Land in LA, CA. Sherry will teach a ladies styling class for West Coast Swing.
Phil Dorroll
Phil is one of the event directors for the Brickyared Boogie along with Mike Lamb. Phil teaches West Coast and all of the Ballroom dances from Detroit, MI, to Clearwater, FL, as well as organizes several other national dance events...including the Summer Dance Party, Michigan Classic, & the Tampa Bay Classic. Friday night:
Something new to do: Those Delta Rhythm Kings. They rule the rhythm with an iron fist and a great sense of humour! It's over early. Check out this Summer for upcoming concerts. Starts at 7:00p.m. Dancing in the street if you like. If you do, you be the entertainment for the night. (I wouldn't). but it's fun listening to the music! http://www.downtownplymouth.org.
I went to ELITE dance studio last Friday night. The place was hopping, nice crowd. Dancing starts at 9:00p.m.Check it out!
Also check out Michigan Ballroom Dance Club at the Michigan Union on Sunday night!. The crowd is changing, I notice lately a nice mix crowd, not just young students. Dancing starts at 8:00p.m. We had about 12 dancer going to Pizza House afterwards. Maybe we are on a wave because of all the hype of Dancing with the Stars.
